New figures reveal 110 dwellings were granted planning permission across the Shannonside region in the second quarter of this year.
According to the Central Statistics Office, Roscommon recorded the highest number of successful applicants.
In Roscommon 49 dwellings were granted planning permission between April and June of 2022.
This includes 47 one-off houses as well as two properties as part of a multi-unit project.
A further 18 one-off homes got the greenlight in Longford.
Leitrim recorded a total of 13 approvals in the second quarter of the year with 11 one-off homes, one apartment and one unit as part of a multi-unit development getting the go-ahead.
No apartments or flats were granted permission in Longford or Roscommon.
Nationally, there was an annual increase of 2% in the total number of dwellings approved at 11,374 units from April until June.
