Over three million euro in 'high tier prizes' were awarded to Shannonside region lottery winners between January 2020 and January 2023.
The National Lottery published these figures in its 'high tier prizes report', which covers prize wins over €15,000 in games such as EuroMillions, Telly Bingo and Millionaire Raffle.
There were 15 'high tier' prize winners in Roscommon with a total prize money of €2,783,731, five in Leitrim, with a total prize of €254,402, and 15 winners in Longford, with a total prize of €932,517.
€68 million has been paid out to 275 players in Dublin since 2020, including 22 who won over 1 million.
There have been four new millionaires made in 2023, the largest being in Foynes in Limerick with a syndicate winning €11.1 million in the Lotto.
