Over three thousand two hundred premises in the Longford Town area are now ready to connect to new high speed broadband according to National Broadband Ireland.
Under the National Broadband Plan, County Longford is seeing an investment of thirty four million euro in the new high speed fibre network.
There are three thousand two hundred and twenty four Longford homes, businesses and farms located in the Longford Town deployment area that can now join the network.
Works have already been completed in other parts of Longford with 2 thousand nine hundred and forty five premises now ready to order high-speed, reliable broadband across the county.
