Almost 210,000 euro in funding has been granted to seven heritage structures in the Shannonside region.
The Government funding package will facilitate the repair and safeguarding of local heritage buildings.
Roscommon has been awarded the highest allocation locally with almost 108,000 euro divided between four projects.
Clonalis House in Castlerea is to receive €45,000 for joinery repairs to the sash windows as well as works on the properties roof.
A further 38,000 euro will assist Castlerea House with roof re-slating and structural chimney repairs while Rockingham Stable Yard in Boyle has been allocated 18,000 euro for window repairs.
In Longford, Ledwithstown House in Ballymahon will benefit from over 32,000 euro for works to the chimney stacks and casings.
10,000 euro has also been awarded to 98 Bar Ballinamuck for essential maintenance of its thatch roof.
Tullaghan House, Duncarby and Lurganboy Chapel of Ease Manorhamilton have also been included in the list, which sees Leitrim granted a total of 58,500 euro in funding.
The Department say as well as supporting owners and custodians of historic and protected structures, this funding will also provide a welcome boost to local construction trades.
