A motorist in Longford is to face a court date and a tow truck has been seized following a stop by local Gardaí yesterday.
Members of the Longford Road's Policing Unit stopped a truck close to the Longford Vaccine Centre outside of Newtownforbes.
The vehicle in question had another tow truck of the same size and model mounted behind it, with Gardaí describing it as dangerously overloaded.

On examination, it was also found that the driver also had no insurance, tax or CVRT.
The vehicle was seized by Gardaí and the motorist will now face a court appearance.
