The cyber attack on HSE IS systems continues to have a major impact on hospital appointments.
Hospitals are priortising emergency cases, and patients in need of non-urgent care are being told to expect long delays.
In Portiuncula, Sligo, Galway and Tullamore, all diagnostics including x-ray, CT scans, MRI appointments and cardiac investigations and endoscopy services are cancelled. Maternity and chemotherapy appointments are still going ahead, unless you are contacted and told otherwise.
All elective inpatient and day case procedures are being cancelled in Roscommon, Galway and Sligo hospitals, a small number of procedures may go ahead and in this event, patients will be contacted directly.
In Tullamore Inpatient and day case procedures are proceeding.
In Mullingar, outpatient appointments, elective surgeries - including endoscopy, urgent, emergency and inpatient radiology services in Mullingar and DEXA scans will proceed.
Plain x-rays in Athlone and plain x-rays for GP treatment centres/MiDOC in Longford are also going ahead.
Emergency services and minor injury units are still open in all hospitals but patients are advised to expect delays for patients who need non-urgent care.
