Longford has their first councillor of the 2024 elections.
Fine Gael's Paul Ross was elected on the first count in the Ballymahon LEA.
Ross received 1,300 votes, exceeding the 1,003 quota. There are still five seats up for grabs in the Ballymahon area. Paul Ross surplus will now be distrubted.
