Payments amounting to €226,000 were made to Roscommon households in the aftermath of Storm Éowyn.
The payments came as part of humanitarian assistance provided by the State.
A total of 11,999 claims were granted nationwide, while 962 of those were awarded in Co. Roscommon.
The county was one of the worst affected in the country, with power outages lingering in some areas until the final weeks of February.
Roscommon-Galway TD Martin Daly says while he is heartened families could avail of supports in the devastating impact of the storm, the state still has a lot of work to do to improve its response:
