Pedestrians across the region are being warned to be extra cautious by the road safety authority over the festive period.
35 pedestrians were killed in fatal collisions so far this year, almost twice the amount on last years numbers.
The RSA are advising all road users to take extreme caution during this busy period on our roads.

As so many people get out of the house for walks on rural roads and footpaths throughout the Christmas period.
