That's according to Longford Women's Link who say donations to their Domestic Violence Unit go towards vital local supports and resources.
Longford Women's Link DV unit provides supports to women and children experiencing domestic violence with services including court accompanying, counselling and connections to practical supports.

Unit manager Natalie O'Reilly is urging the public across the Shannonside region to support their local Domestic Violence groups such as Roscommon Safe Link, DVAS Sligo/Leitrim or themselves in Longford.
She told Shannonside FM that these resources stay on a local level and help people in the community.
