People in the Leitrim area are being encouraged to think about sharing their home with a person with a disability.
The shortbreak scheme facilitated by the HSE in Sligo and Leitrim, involves caring for and sharing your home with a child or an adult with a disability and/or autism.
It's flexible with host families or host carers offering a variety of break options such as a morning, afternoon or day per week, a night per week a month or a weekend per month.
