Permission sought for development of 30 new homes locally

Plans have been lodged for a new housing development outside of Longford Town. Faughnan Construction Ltd are seeking to demolish a home at Aghadegnan close to the Red Cow Roundabout. The plans call for the construction of 30 new homes consisting of 28 three bed terraced houses and 2 three bed semi detached homes.

Also included in the application are plans for an entrance and access road, green space and boundary fencing and walls. Longford County planners are set to decide on the application in the new year.
