Motorists are facing rising petrol and diesel prices of up to three cent per litre with the increase in carbon tax announced in Budget 2024.
However, an increase in fuel excise of eight cent on petrol, and six cent on diesel, due at the end of October, has been delayed.
Those increases will come in April and August next year, in two separate instalments.
