PICS: Gardai investigating after windows smashed in Ballymahon hotel

Gardai are investigating an incident of criminal damage in Ballymahon.

It's understood that a number of windows at Cooney's Hotel on Main Street were damaged just before midnight.

Gardai are appealing to anyone who may have been in the town between 11.30 and midnight, or who may have dashcam footage, to contact them.

The area outside the hotel is currently sealed off as Gardai carry out an examination of the scene.
