The founder of a prominent distillery in Leitrim is expressing concern of the impact of Covid- 19 on the banking system.
PJ Rigney of the Shed Distillery, Drumshanbo, which produces Gunpowder Irish Gin says while the banks have played their part in taking pressure of customers over the last few months, they too are coming under pressure.
He fears that in in a bid to survive in the short to medium term, banks will have to cut costs and may have to make people redundant.
