A planning appeal has been lodged to An Bord Pleanala in connection with a proposed development in Aughnacliffe in north Longford.
Permission was granted in August to Seamus Hourihan to demolish existing derelict buildings and to construct 2 houses with separate domestic garages with an associated new entrance, connection to adjoining utility services and all ancillary site works.
Planning was approved subject to 14 conditions with submissions on the project made by Councillors Colin Dalton and PJ Reilly.
Planning inspectors have now been asked to examine the application and the case will be decided by the middle of next January.
