Planning permission has been granted for the provision of 21 new two-storey homes within a Leitrim village.
F.R.A. McLoughlin Civils Limited had sought the development at Clooncolry in Dromod.
Plans for the site include the construction of 12 homes consisting of 6 four-bedroom terraced houses, 4 semi-detached four and 2 semi-detached four-bedroom houses
One of the semi-detached four-bedroom homes is designed to be a Bed and Breakfast. The application included plans for the completion of 9 partially constructed homes from the subfloor level from previous planning permission.
The development will also develop a communal green area, new service roads and pedestrian paths. Leitrim County Planners made the decision this week and have awarded permission with 20 conditions attached.
