Planning permission for works at a well known car dealership in Ballymahon has been upheld following an appeal to the higher planning body. Peter Hanley trading as Peter Hanley Motors had sought the demolition of an existing showroom building together with the construction of a new building in a new location.
The permission was granted in July last year with 13 conditions attached. That permission was subsequently appealed to An Bord Pleanála over a number of concerns including location, zonning and previous planning history. The Higher Planning Authority has now upheld and approved the development with revised conditions.
