Leitrim Enterprise Fund has received planning permission to construct a new advanced technology unit.
The development is proposed to be constructed at the IDA Business and Technology Park in Carrick-on-Shannon.
The plans include the construction of a 1,512 square metre industrial unit, a two storey office and reception area.

The proposed development also includes 56 parking spaces, a bicycle stand, an electric vehicle charging station and solar panels to the roof of the building.
The plans have been approved with 20 conditions attached, one of which states that Machinery should not be brought onto the site from areas contaminated with knotweed or any other known invasive species without thorough cleaning and power washing.
