A Longford GAA club has been given the green light for a significant upgrade of its current facilities.
Dromard GAA Club has been granted conditional planning permission for the development at its grounds in Moyne.
The works involve the demolition of an existing toilet block to be replaced by a single-storey building. The building will feature a canopy consisting of a new toilet block, gym, therapy room, meeting room, multi-purpose space, shop, and a storage area.
The development also includes connection to existing on-site services and all ancillary works.
Longford County Council gave the go ahead for the works subject to nine conditions.
