Longford's historic Temperance Hall has received planning permission for a number of upgrade works. An application for the works was submitted by Templemichael Parish Resources CLG for the works at the historic hall in the centre of Longford Town. The proposed development would include new solar panels and repair and insulation works to the roof.
The temperance Hall was officially opened over 100 years ago by the Archbishop of Armagh in September 1905. The plans have been approved with 5 conditions attached.
