The new plans lodged towards the end of 2024 make a number of revisions and are now before the higher planning authority again.

St Dominic's GAA in Knockcroghery are seeking to construct a new pitch, athletics track, spectator stand, and biodiversity and sensory garden.

Frank Bell & Son Ltd had sought planning permission for the 65 homes at Ardmore Hills in Marlinstown near Mullingar, with planning permission granted in September of last year.

It would consist of 22 semi-detached two-storey houses, 11 two-storey detached units and a selection of detached single and two story houses.

The development is proposed to be constructed at the IDA Business and Technology Park in Carrick-on-Shannon.
