Planning permission has been lodged for a new energy development in Roscommon. Arigna LDES have applied to Roscommon County Council to install 56 battery containers and medium voltage power stations at Tawlaght, Lough Allen.
Also included in the application is the construction of a new IPP building as well as new access roads, landscaping, car parking and security fencing. County planners will decide on the issue in early February.
