The County Board have submitted a planning application for improvements at the major GAA grounds in Roscommon Town.
Works would include the construction of a covered viewing shelter for wheelchair users beside the main stand and the development of a new toilet block for the graveyard end terrace.
Plans also call for a new ticket booth and a number of new turnstiles at the Athlone Road entrance.
An entrance gate to the ground will also be moved under the plans to give more direct access to the existing emergency access route.
County planners will make their decision in November.
