Vantage Towers Ltd had been successful in their application to erect the 30 metre high lattice tower in May of last year.

Aidan Kelly was refused permission in February to construct 24 homes in Kiltoom, comprised of 2 storey detached dwellings all associated site development works.

Seán Curran had applied for permission for the change of use of the former factory in Ballaghaderreen, receiving the go ahead in February.

Plans include the demolition of the existing wastewater treatment plant and the construction of a new plant.

The two ancillary buildings are set to be used for vehicle valeting and washing.

Also included in the build is the construction of bicycle stands, parking, and all associated site works.

The extension would incorporate a passenger lift and internal escape stairs.

The project also comprises the upgrade of the existing reception building and shop, along with an environmental induction area to immerse visitors in environmental topics.
