Planning permission is being sought for the change of use of a bank building in Co. Leitrim. The application proposes to re-purpose the second flood of the Bank of Ireland premises in Carrick-on-Shannon. The existing storey currently facilitates an office space for the bank.
Planners intend to replace the space with a three two-bedroom apartments and one studio apartment. All associated alterations to the external facades are also included in the submission. County planners have received the application and are due to decide on the project by October.
