A local charity organisation is seeking planning permission for the development of a new day care centre in Roscommon town.
The West of Ireland Alzheimer Foundation plans to build the new centre at Ardsallagh More in Roscommon.
The development will include an activities and day room, kitchen facilities, administration office, medical examination room, storage and all ancillary spaces.

It will also involve upgrade works to the existing access road, an extension to the existing road into the site, and a drop-off zone.
The application also includes new external landscaping, a bin store, and all associated site works.
A decision on the application is due on the 19th of December.
