Plans have been lodged for the construction of a 21 metre high telecom mast in Co. Leitrim. Towercom Limited are seeking the go ahead for the infrastructure at the Eir Exchange in Saint George's Terrace, Carrick-on-Shannon. The plans include an extension of the existing telecommunications lattice structure.
The extension of the tower will carry existing telecommunication equipment, relocated telecommunications equipment, new anntenae and dishes. Leitrim county planners will decide on the application in October.
