The newest application from Peter Gillooly plans for two bespoke Enercon turbines at Derrane & Roxborough.

The houses would have been part of an ongoing development by Glenman Corporation Ltd.

Plans included the construction of a single storey supermarket with an ancillary off-licence sales area.

A number of objections rose from the local community, with concerns about the size of the development and its wider environmental impact.

The permission was refused due to the planning authority's failure to carry out a proper Environmental Impact Assessment

The proposed development consists of the installation of a new ATM, the removal of existing boundary railing and stonework plinth.

County planners have approved the application with 5 conditions attached.

The plans would see three classrooms and ancillary facilities developed on the site, with works also including essential repairs, internal alterations, replacement of the existing septic tank.
