The Trust had applied to Roscommon County Council to develop a new entrance to a home being built for the Naughten family's seriously ill children.

Planning is being sought for the construction of three apartment blocks totaling 40 units.

Longford County Council will decide on the application in February.

Included in the application is constructing 2 detached kennelling structures, two treatment rooms, a laundry room, kitchen, and two storage rooms.

The houses would be a mix of semi detached and terraced buildings at Ard Michael, with access gained off Oaklands Avenue.
