Planning permission has been granted for an expansion of ATM services at a local Bank of Ireland.
An application was submitted to Roscommon County Council for works at the branch on the Square in the county town.
Plans sought the removal of the existing boundary railing and stonework plinth and the installation of a new ATM to the south elevation of the building.
An existing ATM on the west side is to be retained, with new illuminated surround panelling to be installed.
The application was approved with seven conditions attached, with one including that the public roads and footpaths in the vicinity of the site shall be kept free of debris generated by on site work.
