Planning permission has been granted for a new whiskey distillery in Boyle, County Roscommon.
Neil Stewart applied for planning to change the use of part of the existing mill building complex from production of grain and maize products to a whiskey distillery.
The developments includes incorporating the installation of plant, together with minor alterations to the existing building.
The works are to be carried out on the Mill Complex, which is a protected structure.
Roscommon County Planners granted planning permission with 18 conditions attached.
