Planning permissions have been lodged for a new education centre in South Longford.
An existing residential dwelling and a vacant village store in Keenagh are to be refurbished to accomodate an education centre.
The facility comprises of three classrooms and ancillary services.

The change of use will entail essential repairs, internal alterations, replacement of the existing septic tank and all associated site works.
The planning project is to be decided upon by the end of November.
