Plans have been submitted for a new fire station for Leitrim.
The local authority is seeking to build a new facility in Manorhamilton that will service Northern and central Leitrim.
The plans call for a 2 bay fire station to replace the current single bay building in the town.

The facility on the Sligo Road would include accommodation, drill year and a drill tower for training.
The application places the proposed new station on the outskirts of the town adjacent to the Manorhamiltion Water Treatment plant.
The higher planning authority will decide on the application in November.
