Plans have been lodged with Longford County Council to turn two vacant buildings in Ballymahon into a cafe and cheese making factory.
John McNally has submitted a planning application for the change of use of the two derelict buildings on Main Street in the town.
The development would include turning the protected structures into a cafe/restaurant with an associated kitchen, customer sit down area and staff toilets.
Also included in the plans is a cheese making factory together with a shop and a single story extension linking the two buildings together.
Longford County Planners will decide on the application early next month.
