Plans are have been lodged for the construction of high speed electric vehicle charging infrastructure at a busy Longford retail park. Tesla Motors Ireland Limited have applied to Longford County Council for the charging points at the N4 Axis Centre at Aughadegnan outside the town. The development will consist of 12 charging bays with Tesla charging units and three Tesla superchargers.
The plans also include a substation, EV charger signage and associated drainage works. The application will be decided on in the new year.
