Plans have been lodged for the construction of a 21 metre high telecom mast in Co. Longford.
Towercom Limited are seeking the go ahead for the infrastructure at Eir Exchange, Barrack Lane in Granard.
The plans include antennae, dishes and associated telecommunications equipment.
The removal of an existing telecommunications rooftop support structure is also proposed.
Longford county planners have received the application, and submissions are open to the public.
