Plans have been lodged for the rejuvenation of Mohill railway station.
The application seeks permission for the change of use and refurbishment of the existing Station Master's house and Station Building to a self-contained accommodation unit and office work space with café facilities.
Also included in the application is the construction of an exhibition space with a kitchenette, a glazed link with the station building, as well as outdoor dining facilities and carparking.
The former Mohill Railway Station is a protected structure and Leitrim County Planners will decide on the issue in the coming months
