Plans have been published for the construction of a new community library in North Roscommon.
The two-story development will also include a sensory garden and will be located at the rear of the former Royal Hotel in Boyle.
A decision on the project is due in early April and if successful the Council will then seek funding from Government.
Plans for the facility can be viewed online or at Boyle Council offices with consultation open until March 24th.
Councillor John Cummins believes the new library will lend itself to the current regeneration projects in the town.
