Gardai have been notified of a 'racist' letter that has been sent to several businesses in Carrick-on-Shannon.
It's about a planning application for an Islamic Cultural Centre in Hartley Business Park on the Leitrim Road.
The unsigned letter says the development would "bring disrepute to the tourism industry".

It claims the centre would deter tourists and future businesses from investing and settling in Carrick.
Local man Leslie O'Hora is slamming the letter and says it has been reported to the gardai.
