The family of Rooskey man Liam Farrell is meeting a top-ranking garda in Carrick-on-Shannon on Friday to discuss their father's death.
Liam Farrell, 87, was found dead at the back of his house in Rooskey almost five years ago.
His family believes he was assaulted, and an inquest delivered an open verdict in September.
