A son of a Roscommon resident, jailed in Iraq for over four years, says his family may have to sell their home in Elphin because of mounting legal fees.
Robert Pether has been in prison there since April 2021 because of a contract dispute between his employer and the Iraqi government.
His son, Flynn, says it’s a case of a ‘death sentence by arbitration’ – as Robert was hit with new charges in January.
