A total of 89 members of the Roscommon Solstice Choir performed at the International Famine Walk Commemoration Service in Liverpool on Sunday.

The walk started at Clarence Dock, where 1.3 million Irish emigrants arrived during the famine.

It finished at the Irish Famine Memorial at St Luke’s Bombed-Out Church, with Ireland’s UK ambassador Martin Fraser taking part.
