There were calls for Castlerea Swimming Pool to be open all year round at a public meeting in Tully's Hotel last night.
It was called to discuss carrying out a feasibility study into developing an indoor pool in the town, as well as assessing the current facilities.
A committee was set up to further explore the study, which is likely to cost around €20,000.
Our reporter Eoghan Murphy attended the meeting, and we'll first hear from well-known local man Danny Burke.
He's more interested in keeping the current outdoor pool, which is only open during the summer.
