The man who died in a road crash in Co Roscommon on Wednesday night has been named as Galway man Rian Sheridan.
He was driving a car which was involved in a collision with a lorry on the Athlone Road at Newtown, near Ballymurray, at 10pm.
A total of 55 people have died on our roads this year - up 13 on the same time last year.
Sheridan, who was aged in his 20s, was from Renvyle, Co Galway, but spent a lot of time in Roscommon.
He loved dairy farming, music and football.
His parents are Finian and Maria Sheridan and he had three sisters - Ciara, Doireann and Aebhín.
Glowing tributes have been paid to Rian online and condolences to his family.
One reads: "There are no words to help you with your pain right now. Your gorgeous boy, a bright light, taken way too soon."
Another says: "I will never forget working with Rian in Celbridge, and all the craic we had as well as all I learned from him."
Another online message to his family says: "So so sad to hear of this tragic news. Your son Rian was a wonderful inspiration to his family and so many many friends everywhere."
His removal will take place in Christ the King Church, Tullycross, Co Galway, on Easter Sunday from 4pm until 7pm.
His funeral will take place on Monday at 12pm, followed by burial in Renvyle Cemetery.
