A Longford based holiday resorts has reported record profits
Accounts published by Center Parcs Ireland Limited show Longford Forest recorded revenue of €87.4 million to the end of April, an increase of over 50% on the previous year.
This equates to almost €240,000 a day on average for the last 12 months.
Occupancy rates at the Ballymahon based resort also surged from 73% to 97%, with the daily average lodge rent calculated at just over €280.
The centre is planning to expand, with plans for 198 new lodges currently before An Bord Pleanála.
