A Longford travel agents is celebrating a major national industry award this week.
The family run business was announced as the Worldchoice Agent of the Year 2024 at a special ceremony over the weekend.
Kanes Travel is the oldest travel agents in the region and has been operating from Longford since 1956.

The awards celebrate excellence in the industry with the Longford business taking home one of the main accolades at the event.
Anne Kane says the award is a vote of confidence in the business from the travel industry.
