The producers of popular television show DIY SOS are urging volunteers to come on board to help renovate the home of an Athlone firefighter.
Patrick Berry suffered extensive injuries when the gable wall of a house collapsed on top of him while attending a house fire in Mount Temple in October.
On Tuesday, February 8th next all tradesmen who would like to help in renovating Patrick's home should attend an open day at St Kieran's Community Centre in Athlone, from 11:30am - 4pm

It's hoped the work will begin on March 1st and be completed by March 10th.
