Strokestown GAA Club in Roscommon has confirmed that a non-playing member of its club has tested positive for Covid-19.
The close contacts of the person involved have been notified and the family has been in isolation although it's understood that no-one in the family has tested positive.
The club says the details of potentially close as well as casual contacts of the positive test have been passed on to the HSE and the procedures they should now follow have been outlined to them.
All activities of Strokestown GAA were suspended on Monday and now on the advice of the HSE and the GAA, the club has been cleared to return to activities today. All GAA Return to Play guidelines continue to be adhered to in the club grounds.
PRO of the club David Neary says they have and will continue to follow all the guidelines.
