70 ESB customers are still without power in Longford this morning due to a fault. Power is expected to return to these customers by 4 o'clock this evening. This figure is down from the 717 people who were impacted early this morning.
Meanwhile, 38 others are experiencing power outages in Mohill, Co. Leitrim. Their expected restoration time is 12:30 this afternoon.
It comes as the country remains under a severe weather alert until Thursday with a Status Yellow low temperature/ice warning in place for counties across the Shannonside region.

The ESB says it is currently working to restore electricity to the affected areas and urges the public to never approach or touch fallen or damaged electricity wires.
